The Tower, Skegness UK

The Tower Cinema was built in 1920. In 1941 it was severely damaged in a bombing raid, suffering structural damage to the facade and losing most of the roof, prompting a complete revamp. In 1950 the cinema reopened, with a new sound system and seating for 750 patrons. The Tower was back in business.
By the 1980’s, the cinema was losing money, but instead of closing its doors altogether, the upstairs continued showing movies, whilst the ground floor was levelled to become an amusement arcade.
Secret of the Incas was shown here on the 27th December 1954.
